This is Jonathan, a tri-collie. He was scheduled for destruction at a pound, but luckily was saved by a Collie rescue group. After my first search & rescue partner passed away, I went in search of a new partner and was adopted by him at first sight.
He's quite a partner... I always wondered just how far he'd go to protect me. During the summer of 2006, three men set me up for a robbery in an interstate rest area. Jonathan went into 'attack mode' and ran them off... I count myself fortunate to be partners with such a dedicated friend!
